Abstract
Intimal thickening of the intra-organ arteries of the major organs was examined in 253 autopsy cases and the microscopic findings were analyzed according to smoking habits. The small arteries of the lung in particular present a significantly higher degree of fibrous intimal thickening in cigarette smokers. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
