Abstract
Acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy recurred in a 23-year-old white woman. Forty-two days after the onset of symptoms and following the complete resolution of the initial bilateral lesions, a second crop of ophthalmoscopically and biomicroscopically similar lesions were seen in each eye. The cause of the disorder is unknown, and corticosteroid therapy is of doubtful benefit. Keywords
