Hyperfine splitting ofPstates in heavy quarkonia

Abstract
The splitting between the and the center of gravity of the states of heavy quarkonia is evaluated using the perturbative QCD expression for the hyperfine potential. The theoretical result is about 1% of the absolute fine-structure splitting and disagrees with an experimental value.
