Abstract
A single charge 3He–4He dilution refrigerator operating from a 3He stage at 0.3 K is described. The lowest temperature produced with this refrigerator was 0.027 K. The refrigerator was simple to construct and relatively easy to operate. The apparatus was well suited for very low temperature experiments where extended operation was not required. Keywords
