Urinary tract infection in women

Abstract
Women with symptomatic urinary tract infection are commonly seen in office practice. What are the pros and cons of single-dose treatment of acute symptomatic infection? When should invasive studies such as cystoscopy and excretory urography be done? These questions and others are addressed by Dr Gleckman. As one reviewer said of this article, “It really hits on some of the current issues and common problems that the reader is apt to see the very next day.”
