Abstract
The relation between the M-component (`paraprotein') and the maximal antistreptolysin-O (AST) activity is studied in the sera from two patients, one with unequivocal and one with probable myeloma. The results indicate that the AST activity is to be found in the M-components and not in the `normal', diffuse γ-globulin.This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
