The Size‐Quantized States of the Wannier‐Mott Exciton in Structures with Superthin Films of CdTe

Abstract
The results of experimental investigations of excitonic spectra of the CdTe superthin films on MgFe2 are theoretically discussed. The significance of different terms in the experimentally measured quantity — the energy of a photon which generates an exciton — is analysed. The theory is in good quantitative and qualitative agreement with experiments.
