Abstract
The possibility that the spin is has been investigated. Identification of the as an state is excluded; the assignment is not required; and is found rather unlikely. Of the states , , , and , only is acceptable, the excluded hypotheses having confidence levels of order or ; this conclusion strengthens slightly the authors' earlier selection of , based chiefly on study of the dependence of two components of the decay polarization. This more definitive report results from the application of the "moment analysis" of Byers and Fenster to a sample of 895 decays obtained from interactions in the 72-in. bubble chamber.
