Abstract
Presentation of CaseAn 18-year-old Caucasian man was admitted to the hospital because of hypertension.He was well until eight years earlier, when hypertension was found. Five years before admission a renal angiographic examination, performed elsewhere, showed stenosis of the superior mesenteric and left renal arteries and the infrarenal portion of the abdominal aorta. A percutaneous transluminal angioplasty of the left renal artery was performed on two occasions, with transient improvement in the caliber of the vessel and the blood pressure. During the year before admission the patient's hypertension worsened progressively, and he began to experience frequent headaches that responded . . .
