Abstract
Myelin basic protein was shown to be a substrate for protein kinase from rabbit muscle. One of the major sites of phosphorylation was the serine residue in the sequence Gly-Arg-Gly-Leu-Ser-Leu. The arginine residue in this sequence is known to be a substrate for a protein methylase. Keywords
