Abstract
We report new measurements of the asymmetry in the deep-inelastic scattering of longitudinally polarized electrons by longitudinally polarized protons in the kinematic range , , and GeV. We compare our results with the Bjorken sum rule and with several theoretical models of the internal spin structure of the proton.
