Abstract
Sulfanilamide and penicillin injected intravenously in the dog were recovered in the dental pulp fluid in approximately the same concentration as in the blood plasma. Penicillin, which is excreted rapidly from the blood by the kidneys, was maintained at a relatively high level in the blood plasma by administration of p-dipropylsulfamylbenzoic acid prior to injection of penicillin. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
