Abstract
During separate visits, four child volunteers received routine APF gel topical fluoride applications and ingested known amounts of fluoride (3.0 mg) in the form of tablets. Plasma and urine fluoride concentrations, as well as urine excretion rates, were measured before and for five h after these procedures. Significant increases in plasma and urinary fluoride concentrations were observed following both procedures. Keywords
