Abstract
We calculate the frequency-dependent mobility of a classical Brownian particle moving in a periodic potential. The problem is solved by applying a generalized version of Mori's continued-fraction method. The results are then used to interpret the observed frequency-dependent conductivity for the superionic conductor AgI.Keywords
