Abstract
The brachiopod fauna from Greenhills near Hilldale, N.S.W., is listed, the new spiriferoid genus Voiseyella erected, and the following species described: Schuchertella concentrica n.sp., Streptorhynchus spinigera (McCoy). Rugosochonetes auriculus n.sp., Rugosochonetes kennedyensis Maxwell, Fluctuaria campbelli n.sp., Waagenoconcha delicatula Campbell, Kitakamithyris uniplicata (Campbell), Voiseyella anterosa (Campbell) and Pseudosyrinx exsuperans (de Koninck). A brief study is made of Asyrinxia lata (McCoy) and it is maintained that a single species occurs at Greenhills and other localities in the Gresford district. The age of the fauna is redetermined as Middle Viséan (Cu IIIa).Keywords
