Abstract
Apolipoprotein AI of rat has been synthesized in a cell‐free wheat germ system and contranslationally translocated into dog pancreas microsomal vesicles. Translocation is accompanied by cleavage of a signal sequence of 18 amino acid residues and is dependent on the recently purified signal recognition protein. This publication has 28 references indexed in Scilit:
