Abstract
Several results are given for the pair of functions which satisfy the Kronig-Kramers transform relationship. The two functions are shown to be normalized to the same quantity, which is interpreted in terms of the response function for the pair. The problem of the distribution of relaxation times in dielectric theory is reduced to that of employing the moments of the distribution function. A discussion is given of the use of Argand diagrams to represent the behaviour of the two functions and two examples are shown from N.M.R. measurements. Keywords
