Abstract
When Kundrat (1) first recognized lymphosarcoma as a distinct entity in 1892, he described it as a growth arising from a group of lymph nodes or, more rarely, from a single node or lymphoid tissue in localized organs or tissues such as tonsils, pharynx, or the gastrointestinal tract. It was not until 1931 that Pekelis (2) described the first case of lymphosarcoma confined to the lung and thoracic structures. In 1947 Churchill (3), and Spatt and Grayzel (4) reported the first two cases of lymphosarcoma of the lung that were successfully resected. Primary lymphosarcoma of the lung parenchyma is a
