Abstract
A very important question associated with the phenomenological modeling of the magnetic hysteresis is the identification problem. In this article only the Preisach and the energetic model for ferromagnetic hysteresis are considered. An original identification method for the energetic model is presented. As it uses common experimental data such as simple parameters on the major loop: coercive field, saturation, remanence, or susceptibilities on different points of the loop it is not too sensitive to experimental errors. The method is verified on various commercial particulate magnetic media with excellent agreement. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
