Abstract
The absolute triple differential cross sections for the ionisation of helium measured recently by Jung et al (1985) in coplanar asymmetric geometry at 600 eV incident electron energy are analysed using the second Born (B2) and the modified Glauber (MG) approximations. Our MG results show better agreement with the data, both in the binary and the recoil peak regions, compared with the B2 results. Keywords
