Abstract
The following subjects in the review article will be considered: (1) The presence or organic compounds in drinking water in relation to possible health effects; (2) Epidemiological studies on the health effects of water borne diseases caused by organic constituents; (3) Introduction and removal of toxic organics during treatment processes; (4) Toxicity testing of organic mixtures concentrated from drinking water; and (5) The significance of organic constituents in drinking water for human health. Keywords
