Abstract
Continued professional recognition and concern are urged in regard to increased use of stimulant drugs for treatment of hyperactivity, unaccompanied by 1) adequate interdisciplinary communication about specific behaviors leading to referral and treatment, or 2) adequate assessment of the behavioral and educational consequences of the medication. Some pertinent questions are posed. Keywords
