Abstract
Polytellurophene is prepared chemically using FeCl3 as catalyst at the first time. The electrical conductivity in the doped state is found to be relatively low, 10-6 S/cm, compared with that in polythiophene. Polyselenophene films prepared by a chemical method are found to indicate similar characteristics with those of electrochemically prepared films. Keywords
