Study of the C and D states of CO+by the threshold photoelectron-ion coincidence technique

Abstract
The coincidence between threshold electrons and ions from CO was used to separate the parent and fragment ions between 500 and 580 AA using synchrotron radiation as the light source. Most of the C and D state above the dissociation limit were confirmed to predissociate to C++O.
