Abstract
Thick films of yttrium barium copper oxide have been prepared by spinning a suspension of YBCO powder in an organic medium onto a substrate. Films produced have a superconducting onset of 90 K and zero resistance at 79 K. The effects of substrate composition, barrier layers and process parameters have been investigated. Keywords
