Abstract
It is shown that when both the electromagnetic field and the vector-meson field are quantized in the presence of an anomalous-magnetic-moment interaction the energy density of the combined system is positive-definite and satisfies the Dirac-Schwinger covariance condition. This result shows that the validity of a recent suggestion of noncausal behavior in such a theory does not extend to the fully quantized case. Keywords
