Abstract
Fe/Ag multilayers have been prepared by rf sputtering. Under some conditions of preparation, samples with high magnetization and Faraday rotation are obtained. For example, the magnetization for Fe layers of thickness in the range 2–3 nm is as high as 2.5 T. At an applied field of 1.2 T and at a laser wavelength of 633 nm, for the above samples the Faraday rotation is more than 2 times that of the bulk Fe.This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
