Abstract
Fortunately, the most common malformation of the ear is the protruding ear. Surgical correction is easy and should be done after age five and before peer ridicule takes its toll. Prosthetic replacement should be considered in more cases of major ear defects, because even the best surgical reconstruction is not inconspicuous. Keywords
