Correspondence between Doppler-free spectroscopies and photon echoes

Abstract
A one-to-one correspondence between spectroscopies of reduced inhomogeneous broadening and photon-echo processes is established. Photon-echo phenomena like those related to coherent Stokes Raman scattering and difference-frequency generation are predicted.Keywords
