Abstract
The effect of Sr substitution for Ba on the superconducting transition temperature T c of Ba Pb1-x Bi x O3 ceramics has been investigated for series of various Pb/Bi ratio. At the semiconducting region (x=0.32), the shift of T c is proportional to the added Sr-content. At the metallic region (x=0.20, there is a peak in the T c vs Sr-composition diagram. The result is discussed in comparison with the pressure effect of the superconductivity of this compound reported previously. Keywords
