Abstract
Dichloroacetate demonstrates low grade mutagenicity in the Ames Salmonella/mammalian microsome mutagenicity test. This evidence of probable carcinogenicity must be considered in any proposed use of dichloroacetate or of preparations of pangamic acid (trade-named “vitamin B15”) containing dichloroacetate. Keywords
