Abstract
This paper presents the clinical profiles and outcomes of six patients with recurrent herpes simplex (HSV) genital infection who were treated with a combination of hypnotic suggestion and supportive psychotherapy. The effects of hypnosis on frequency of HSV recurrence in this pilot study were inconclusive. Most noteworthy was a history of interpersonal loss preceding the onset of HSV infection. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
