Abstract
A new approach to the Regge calculus, developed in a previous paper, (ibid., vol.4, p.391, 1987), is used in conjunction with the velocity potential version of relativistic fluid dynamics due to Schutz (1970) to calculate relativistic model stars. The results are compared with those obtained when the Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkov equations are solved by other numerical methods. The agreement is found to be excellent. Keywords
