Collective versus Atomic Models of the Hadrons

Abstract
The relationship between heavy- and light-quark systems is examined. By use of a Bogoliubov-Valatin transformation the author shows how to interpolate continuously between heavy-quark atomic models and light-quark collective models of the hadrons.Keywords
