Abstract
From 1973 through 1975, the seasonal flight activity of the Comstock mealybug, Pseudococcus comstock (Kuwana), in California was monitored with sex pheromone traps. Four generations of male flight activity were detected in 1973 and 1974. Samples of leaves infested with mealybugs collected in 1974 confirmed the existence of a 4th generation. The 4th generation developed from a fraction of 3rd-generation eggs that did not enter winter diapause. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
