Abstract
This study explored the impact of travel and tourism ex perience on travelers' psychological well-being or level of happiness. Using a pretest-posttest experimental design, senior travelers taking an escorted tour were asked to assess their happiness before and after the tour. While the findings rejected the hypothesis that travel may change level ofhappi ness, other variables may explain the variation. Keywords
