Spontaneous Foveal Diplopia With Peripheral Fusion

Abstract
Two cases of convergent microstrabismus with spontaneous foveal diplopia were seen in which the angle of anomaly in the retinal periphery was different from the one that existed in the retinal center. An explanation has been given of the genesis of this clinical entity. The existence of two angles of anomaly is of importance for the theory of abnormal retinal correspondence.
