Consumptive coagulopathy in fulminant meningococcemia

Abstract
Meningococcemia with Waterhouse-Friderichsen syndrome caused death in a 21-year-old woman. This patient had marked abnormalities of multiple coagulation factors, which suggested that disseminated intravascular coagulation played an important role in the morbidity and mortality of this disease.This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
