Abstract
Techniques are described for constructing cavity resonators at X band from low‐thermal expansion ceramics. A variety of mechanical arrangements is discussed. Q values as high as 14 000 and frequency‐temperature coefficients as low as 1 part in 100 million per °C have been obtained using simple processes. Keywords
