Abstract
The theory of the energy transfer of electronic excitation between impurity atoms is developed for the case when broad absorption and luminescence bands exist. Perturbation theory is not employed. The probability of transfer is defined by a change of the quantum yield of the secondary donor radiation. The results are compared with the Förster‐Dexter theory. Keywords
