One-proton transfer reactions induced byO16andC12onNi64

Abstract
The (O16, N15) and (C12, B11) reactions on Ni64 target have been investigated using 56 MeV O16 and 48 MeV C12 beams. Angular distributions were obtained for the first five excited states of Cu65. No-recoil distorted-wave Born-approximation (DWBA) analyses were made and striking anomalies were found especially for the (O16, N15) reaction leading to the j< states. These anomalies were then shown to disappear if exact finite-range DWBA analyses were made, which gave reasonable absolute spectroscopic coefficients in close agreement with those obtained in light ion reactions.
