Abstract
The Azorubin S liver function test using 15-30 mins. for normal appearance time revealed 3 types of liver dysfunction: (1) delayed excretion, (2) too rapid excretion, (3) reduced ability to concentrate dye. The Azorubin S test was positive in 60% of a small series of cases considered clinically to have liver damage; hippuric acid test in 62% and bilirubin excretion test in 48%; the 3 tests combined were positive for 72% of the group. Keywords
