Abstract
We consider the process , where and are heavy Majorana particles, with relative given by , decaying subsequently via , . We derive the energy and angle correlation of the dilepton final state, both for like-sign () and unlike-sign () configurations. Interesting differences are found between the cases . The characteristics of unlike-sign dileptons originating from a Majorana pair are contrasted with those arising from the reaction , where is a Dirac particle-antiparticle pair.
