Abstract
Various mutant strains of Escherichia coli have been exposed to a homogeneous static magnetic field of either 0.5 T or 3.0 T and to the time varying magnetic fields found in echo-planar imaging experiments. No evidence of increased DNA damage was detected, even with bacterial strains disabled for DNA repair.Keywords
