Abstract
This article describes the expenditures and characteristics of Texans who travel to places outside of Texas to participate in snow skiing. The Texas skier market is segmented into two groups, heavy and light spenders. These segments are dijJerentiated from one another and from other Texans in terms of socio-demographic characteristics.Keywords
