Abstract
Whilst analyzing the morphological effects of a 3-week dietary intervention in patients with prostate cancer, we made an unexpected observation to the effect that prostate biopsy trauma may, at least transiently, increase prostate tumor cell proliferation. Further studies are needed to evaluate the clinical significance of this observation. Keywords
