Abstract
Traumatic thrombosis of the internal carotid artery following soft palate injury in a 3 1/2 year old boy is reported. Prominent collateral circulation through the circle of Willis and the orbit was a good prognostic sign. The problem of traumatic carotid thrombosis is of considerable practical importance in differential diagnosis from intracranial haematoma. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
