Abstract
Extracts from spleens of patients with thrombocytopenia made by the method of Troland and Lee and injected into rabbits produced a definite lowering of blood platelets. Control spleens from other sources did not exhibit this effect. While the degree of thrombopenia and the speed with which it occurred varied somewhat from the findings of Troland and Lee, on the whole this expt. confirmed their work. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
