Abstract
Malacoplakia [an unusual inflammatory condition] often is considered a benign disease. Recent experience with renal parenchymal malacoplakia and a review of the literature revealed the clinical and pathologic features and the prognosis of this renal disease. Upper urinary tract malacoplakia is neither benign nor self-limited and bilateral renal parenchymal involvement was uniformly fatal. This publication has 23 references indexed in Scilit:
