Abstract
The Roughton-Scholander microgasometric procedure has been modified to provide a simple and accurate micromethod for the determination of the O2 capacity of blood. Only 39.3 cmm are required and an analysis may be completed in 10 to 12 minutes. O2 capacities obtained by the micromethod agree well with those measured by the Sendroy macromethod, the average difference being ±0.16 vol%.Keywords
